AAMC Competencies Webinar: An Update on What’s New

As the AY2025 application cycle approaches, many advisors are likely incorporating the updated AAMC Core Competencies in their spring advising. However, some of us may not be entirely clear as to what the updated competencies are and why they changed.

On Friday, February 23 the NEEAHP will host a Zoom webinar to provide advisors a brief overview of the updated AAMC Core Competencies, including information about what changed, why these changes, and the importance of these changes. We will also discuss strategies for incorporating the updated AAMC Core Competencies in our advising this coming application cycle.

This is a members only event. Members were sent an email via the NEAAHP List Serv on Monday, January 22 that included the Zoom link. All members will receive a reminder email with the Zoom link mid-February.

This meeting will be recorded and available for members to watch after the event.
